Q: Can't Remove Old ICloud Account

Hi Lluce.  It would be fine as it will only delete those synced information on the iPad.  It's still saved in the iCloud server thus after you delete the iCloud account and then add it again, the information will go down from the iCloud server to your iPad.

Well I'll give it a try then.  I have an issue with my photo stream and my camera roll pics maybe you or someone can help with.  I took some pics with my iPhone yesterday and only a few went on my photo stream.  I can't get the ones that didn't go on the photo stream  on my iPad or on my computer.  Why didn't they go on the photo stream? And how can I get them there?

I had read the trouble shooting link previously, but I don't see anything that pertains to me.  And I definitely haven't exceeded my limit.  I only took about 15 pictures yesterday. And I only have about 600 altogether over a couple of years or so.  So I still don't get it, I don't know what to do.    I've never had this problem before.

Thanks IOS 08, your precise instructions is very much appreciated for getting the apple sign on thing straightened out.  But I still don't have all my pics on on my photo stream and I can't find a reason for it in my case, even after reading the link you gave me.  I need to get this solved before we upgrade our phones this week.     what else can I do?

I was having exactly the same problem as everyone else in this thread. It has been driving me nuts for days as nothing I tried worked including all these helpful comments. Like joe it also seemed to think my old inaccessible email address was my rescue address so was unable to change current id to that one temporarily.  So frustrating. Then I finally tried doing a 'reset all settings' and was prepared to lose photos etc. however it reset the settings without losing any data  and then MAGIC happened. I was able to use my current apple id password against the old email address and turn off find my iphone and delete the icloud account. This also solved another issue which was that my car phone had been unable to load my contacts. Aftter struggling for days it took two minutes!

I tried your advice step-by-step and it is still not working for me.  I have the "old email address & trying to delete icloud" a lot of people seem to be having.  I go into manage ID & chagne my email to the old address & save - I am still logged in on the website.  then try to delete it from my phone using current password.  it is not working for me.  Is there a certain time i need to wait for it to happen?  I  have tried this about 6 times and still no luck.  wondering if any other suggestions?  Thanks!  I am on day 3 of trying anything to fix my phone.

I just added my old email address to the list of accounts and then didn't have to delete my info and then sign in again.  That way I enabled my phone to accept the email from apple to reset my password through their link.

I finally called apple support.  Nothing I tried was working.  Turns out I had two separate accounts and when I changed the email on the original account, it didn't change on the icloud account. 

im going to https://appleid.apple.com and sign in my current iCloud/Apple ID then edit it to my old email address then Save the changes.  But it tell me "This email address is designated as your rescue email address and cannot be used as your Apple ID or Primary email address. Please choose another"

what can i do, pleae help me

Same happened to me - did they manage to delete the old account? I cant as I dont know the old password an dthe old e-mail is inaccessable. Is the only wat to call them?

try this but cannot recall old password so when we try to delete it says password is invalid???
