Oct 26, 2013 10:54 PM in response to explorzby eslave,Don't know if it will work for everyone but it did for me.
iOS 7.0.3, iTunes 11.1.2, OS X Mavericks
I was not able to sync my music at all, so I did theses steps (in this order) and it worked.
1. Backup iPhone via USB cable to your Macbook/iMac
2. ERASE the iPhone (Settings--General--Reset--Erase All Content and Settings)
3. Keep the iPhone plugged into your Macbook/iMac and keep iTunes OPEN
4. Do NOT Restore from backup when it will prompt you. Instead, setup as a NEW phone in the ITUNES interface (not on the phone)
5. Wait for iTunes to Setup your Phone
6. When Done, now you can restore your backup that you did in step 1
7. Wait for the complete restore
8. Unplug and Reboot iPhone
9. When iPhone has rebooted, plug in again (USB) and do a last Sync
10. Now you should have all your new songs, photos, etc ... and it will sync properly
So it did work for me. Maybe I did some useless steps, but at least it worked! Hope it helps!

Oct 27, 2013 2:25 AM in response to explorzby mkummer,I am still not in luck here: my devices are displayed in itunes - at least, if I turn them on. When I try to sync and activate the device via the menu in iTunes, the bar at the bottom is filled in orange. Pressing Sync now results in a error message - Cant sync itunes dont know what is on the device (is here in german so the english text may vary). Same on the iPad. I got it working yesterday - disabling the Wifi sync on itunes and connecting after a program restart worked fine and the bar was filled with different colours again. Afterwards I could enable WIFI sync again and it worked then. Restarting iTunes brought me back to the initial point descibed here.
Besides - I still have the massive (60 secs) lag on returning to album view in my main window. Selecting MOVIES or SHOWS and even INTELLIGENT PLAYLISTS responds immediately, but returning to ALBUM takes its time. I still think, there is something buggy here.
