itune error (-45054) "enough access privilege"

Since last few months I am facing proble during iTune usage. Wheneven I opned it give me two error as stated below, though it allows me to use iTune for listning songs or purchase.


Error 1 : "You do not have enough access privilege for this operation"

Error 2 : "An unknown error occured (-45054)"

eventhrough I have updated my OS to 10.8.5, Problem remain same.


Let me know if there any way I can crear up this error.

    This is one of the rare occasions when you should run Repair Permissions (not Repair Disk) in Disk Utility. Ignore the many false warnings that it produces.

    A fellow musican I know had an identical issue with this and asked me to check it out.  I fixed it and wrote a long set of instructions on my blog.  His problem was with 10.6 but it was an update he did preparing to move to Mavericks.


    I was able to reproduce the error by just removing the /Shared folder from /Users

    In order to comply with this form, I must point out that the fixed1t blog site does sell cheap Garageband and sampler support software and that I will benefit if you buy it. The reality is, nobody buys these days LOL  ;-)
