I am experiencing the same problem - on a MacBook Air with my photo library on the SD disk. As I scroll thorugh my pictures, for a brief second the picture is clear, then goes slightly out of focus. I thought I was the only one to notice this. Glad I wasn't. I have noticed this on two different occasions.
Apple - any solutions?

Same issue here. OSX 10.8.2. iPhoto '11 v9.4.2 (710.42). They are sharp as a tack for about 1/2 a second and then blur. At first I though my camera's auto-focus was off, but then why are they tack sharp for brief periods? Apple?

The details for contacting Apple are at the bottom of every page.

I've noticed the same issue, but only when the edit function is activated (the pencil icon on the bottom right). If the edit function is not activated, the photos stay sharp when scrolling from one photo to the next.

Same here. 2013 imac. when cycling throught photos on iPhoto they are in focus for fraction of a second and then become out of focus. Before I realized it, I actually deleted many photos because they appeared blurry. Very frustrating to have later found out they were absolutely perfect. I literally thought my camera was terrible.
Please fix this obvious glitch!!!

I am having the same problem on a 2008 iMac with a sizeable library of photos.
