Oct 28, 2013 9:46 PM in response to RonnieNwolfby Greysound,I have the same question and am super concerned and frustrated right now.
I am a musician, so all my work is in pages. Everything. All my covers that I use for gigs, all my originals, all my new songs, all my project songs, everything. (Yes I am aware this is not the smartest thing to do, but I just spent several nights organizing music in pages, and now it's all gone). All because I told it to sync with iCloud after the new update. Please tell me there is a way to roll back the update and obtain my files on my ipad?
(PS if someone mentions time machine or go check iTunes for your last backup, I'm going to be pretty mad, because that means I lost everything and I will be super discouraged that apple didn't think to put a message that current works would be lost by syncing up to the cloud. I mean come on guys...)

Oct 29, 2013 2:45 AM in response to Greysoundby Greysound,Ok, so I need to apologize, it was late and I thought I had lost some really important docs to me. Turns out, even though I don't auto sync with iTunes (I manually manage), the iCloud still had a backup from the day before. To be honest, I am completely surprised a backup was made. I am so grateful that the backup was there and super appreciate the convenience of the cloud.
Definitely check your computer and see if you have a backup. In iTunes, view the iPad and select the info tab, I believe. If you have a backup that's recent, then go to the actual iPad and you'll want to erase its data (it's ok cause all your info is in the backup). Go to Settings - General - Reset - Erase all content and settings. Yes you will have to reset some things when it's all said and done, but it had my stuff in it, so I'm not complaining. Once it resets, and reboots fully, go through the prompts and it will ask if you want to use a backup from the cloud or iTunes. Select the cloud and watch your stuff come back to you! This obviously won't work for everyone, but it worked for me, and I feel tons better now.
Thank you Apple for creating a system that is dummy proof, but it couldn't hurt to put a prompt in there once in a while so I don't have a heart attack.
