Oct 24, 2013 6:26 PM in response to Ralph2013by 60wpm,I have this question too. I think the only i/o port in the iPad is the Lightening port.
So I'm looking for something I can plug into that Lightening port than plug a USB into that (for audio).
I'VE SEEN a photo from 2012 that shows what I have in mind.
Can anyone identiy what's in this photo, sticking into the iPad?

Oct 25, 2013 1:26 PM in response to Ralph2013by Texas Mac Man,There's no USB port. However, Apple's Camera Connection Kit provides a USB port (primarily for import of pics and videos). Some other USB devices do work.

I'd say: NO...or we certainly would have heard about it -- AND -- it is not indicated on Tech Specs of the product nor mentioned in features.
What TEXAS MAC MAN indicated is what we have to do, get an iPad Camera Connection Kit, careful to get the proper one that connects to the Lignting I/O.
