Oct 24, 2013 9:25 PM in response to kbrinegarby Ramrunner,If you've been following the whole thread, all you'll get is success stories. I have an idea! How about you try it? Takes only a couple of minutes and you can always report back if it does not work for some reason. Faster to try it than to post the question here even

Oct 27, 2013 8:00 AM in response to l9ChevyDriven85by jmscott45,Your brother was dead on. After i finally read the instructions closely (3rd time; i'm slow), found the right "Path" variable inthe "Systems Variables" section and now it works great! Opens as it used to. I have the hybrid graphics from Sony; Intel HD Graphic 4000 and GT 640m LE 2Gb, running windows 8.1x64. All was good until i updated from windows 8 which included the new Intel 4000 drivers. Thanks again

Oct 30, 2013 5:48 AM in response to greenboy1by kbrinegar,I used the fix and iTunes no longer crashes when I open the Store. The only problem I'm having now is that about every third or fourth time I open iTunes, it opens like it was just installed, i.e. the sidebar is gone and the iTunes tutorial screen comes up. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Nov 5, 2013 12:43 PM in response to l9ChevyDriven85by AnthonyK68,Thanks a million. This did the trick. It was getting quite annoying. Thanks to you, I'm issuee free. Well, for the most part. lol)
I'd like to add, that you may have to restart the computer after changing the path to make it go into effect.

Nov 11, 2013 8:58 PM in response to l9ChevyDriven85by WhiteMage815,Hi, I have a Sony VAIO Fit 14 with a intel i7 with a intel HD 4000 graphics card. When I tried the path fix, it messed up my wireless internet access to where I couldn't access the internet through iTunes or any apps (on windows 8.1). I took out the path fix and now my internet is back to normal, but iTunes is still crashing again. Help?

Nov 11, 2013 9:22 PM in response to WhiteMage815by Ramrunner,If done properly, the ADDITION to the global path variable CANNOT break something like your wireless. Are you SURE you added the extra to the END of the line and it had a semicolon seperating it???
