I'm trying to purchase Logic Pro X on the Mac App Store. Before it wouldn't let me because my software was out of date, so I updated to OS X (Maverick). Now when I press "buy app" it says "Your Purchase Cannot Be Completed", and it links me to a apple support page on the apple store. Then after I close that it says "We could not complete your request" and "there was an error with the apple store, please try again later."

 

Now, I've been "trying again later" a couple times now, but it keeps giving me the same message/

 

I really have run out of ideas to try. I'm logged into my Apple ID, so I kow that's not the problem.
any suggestions?

    • Make sure your computer’s date, time, and time zone are set correctly in Date & Time preferences. Choose Apple menu > System Preferences, and then click Date & Time.

    • Make sure your Apple ID information is accurate and that you don’t need to correct a problem with a previous purchase. To verify your Apple ID information and review your purchase history, choose Store > View My Account or click Account in the Quick Links section.The Quick Links section is located in the right part of the window shown when you click Featured, Top Charts, or Categories in the toolbar.
