Oct 29, 2013 9:13 AM in response to Blue Spinnakerby sanstiger,Anyone noticed that when you upload a Keynote file to Dropbox, it zips the file now? Extremely annoying!!!!
Apple did call back today, third senior advisor, and asked for screen shots of the messages received on Keynote and Pages regarding the fonts. Engineering requested as they continue to look at this issue. It seems everything I do on Keynote and Pages now takes 3 times as long to do...hating it!!!!!

Oct 30, 2013 12:20 PM in response to sanstigerby kezza,I'm having the same problem in Numbers, which I've been using on my iPad for months but after the most recent update *every single time* I open any spreadsheet even tangentially associated with excel at some point in the past, even if I try changing the font. It used to complain once and then save the conversion, now it complains every time. Glad to know this is an engineering bug and not a feature. Hope they get it sorted soon, it's really bugging me!

Oct 31, 2013 8:50 PM in response to sanstigerby oldmankit,I use Keynote (and Numbers) every day for work. I have many presentations (and spreadsheets) and find the bugginess of the new versions pretty annoying. The added font warning dialogues, aside from the random crashes, makes switching between presentations slower.
I would like to downgrade to the previous version, but I remember that when I first installed it, I was asked if I wanted to convert my documents to the newer version. There's probably no way back now.

Nov 1, 2013 5:48 AM in response to sanstigerby TOBX,Have the same problem in Numbers. I did select all pages individually and changed the font to Arial but still get the same error Calibri fint missing message.
Can anyone help why still same message even though I changed all pages?

Nov 1, 2013 6:06 AM in response to TOBXby Kilgore-Trout,Calibri is likley still in the underlying metadata for the document, even if it is not actually used to format any text. Ignor it. Worse case scenario is that you missed something - easily corrected in the imported document.

Nov 1, 2013 6:18 AM in response to sanstigerby TOBX,Thank you for the reply but it's very annoying happening everytime almost for every document. Any way I can make it stop?

Nov 1, 2013 6:36 AM in response to TOBXby Kilgore-Trout,Use a different template, most likely. I'm guessing Calibri is included in the template the documents are originally created with. Honestly not rrying to be trite, but I transfer files between multiple applications on a regular basis, and minor transformations like this are a fact of life. My advice is to click OK and move on.

Nov 1, 2013 6:48 AM in response to Kilgore-Troutby Blue Spinnaker,I think the point here is that we know the font is missing, and we accept a message that tells us that, but in the old versions it only told us the first time it opened and now it tells us every time, which it never used to. There doesn't seem to be a solution to this at the moment, but sanstiger has alerted the powers that be who have passed it on to engineering.
Annoying when you think you are upgrading and end up with problems that didn't exist with the earlier version.

Nov 1, 2013 7:58 AM in response to sanstigerby TOBX,This might sounds funny to you guys but I'm new to this whole Apple Support Community. Just returned my Surface Pro 2/Excel and switched to iPad/Numbers. How it works if I want to make Apple hear our concerns generally about issues like this?

Nov 6, 2013 3:18 PM in response to sanstigerby dbutlerman,Keep up the good work. I am having the same issue. I've gone through each slide of the presentation and I am still receiving the error. I have a developer account, so if you need logs of the error, I can supply them. Hopefully somebody at Apple is able to fix this!

Nov 6, 2013 6:11 PM in response to dbutlermanby sanstiger,It appears Apple admits issues with iWorks and changes are coming. Check out this article:

Nov 10, 2013 11:01 AM in response to sanstigerby kezza,I think I might have found a workaround for this problem, though I haven't tested it thoroughly. It appears, at least with my spreadsheets in Numbers, that if I open the file in the web-based iCloud Numbers app, then sync it back to my device the calibri warning goes away. It's worked this way with every spreadsheet I've tried it with, and the fix appears to persist in duplicate children of the original file on my iOS device. I haven't tried this with Keynote or Pages, though, but I imagine it's worth a shot.

Nov 21, 2013 8:28 PM in response to kezzaby sanstiger,Apple released update for iWorks apps today but did NOT fix this issue. The iCloud option noted above will not work for larger files which is the majority of my presentations. They obviously do not monitor discussion boards....iOS 7 has really decreased my productivity and dramatically responsiveness of my devices.
