Q: My new Macbook Pro won't connect Apple bluetooth enabled keyboard.  It appears not to be discovered, however, in the preferences it shows my keyboard but says it is not connected

My Apple (bluetooth enable) keyboard will not connect.  It appears that it is not discoverable.  However, in the bluetooth preference the keyboard device appears but says that it is not connected.

    Hey there GreggRocky,

It sounds like your bluetooth keyboard profile is setup in your Bluetooth preferences but is not pairing up like it is supposed to. I want to recommend removing the device from your bluetooth preferences and setting it back up.

    • 1. Choose Apple menu -> System Preferences.
    • 2. Click Bluetooth.

    • 3. Click Devices.

    • 4. Select the device you want to delete from the Bluetooth Devices listing.

    • 5. Click the Delete Pairing button.

    • 6. Click Delete or "Disconnect and Delete".
