Oct 31, 2013 6:25 PM in response to S. Zimmermanby 01010101111011,I have a new MacBook Pro with Mavericks. The Map app has never showed anything but a blank map. It shows my loation and will even plot routes, but the map never appears. Must say this is quite a dissapointment for a new app.

Nov 1, 2013 11:18 AM in response to S. Zimmermanby neburim,Same problem here. Already in English as Language and Maps doesn't load maps, neither in standard, hybrid or satellite.

Nov 1, 2013 11:25 AM in response to S. Zimmermanby Eric Root,Apple doesn’t routinely monitor the discussions.
Send Apple feedback. They won't answer, but at least will know there is a problem. If enough people send feedback, it may get the problem solved sooner.

Nov 1, 2013 11:41 AM in response to Eric Rootby badness,I can let you know they do monitor. One week ago, my phone rang on Friday afternoon. Matt from Apple was calling to find out if my problem with Apple Maps had been fixed. My issue is lack of ethernet support (must be on wifi only to use Maps location), discussion is on the Maps board here. Anywho, he spent 15 minutes on the phone having me test a few things and sending him a file looking for errors. So keep up the chatter. They are indeed watching. As it turns out, likely everybody in the government is watching too. But that's another issue.

Nov 1, 2013 12:24 PM in response to Eric Rootby rootdr,You are dead wrong about that. I had a phone call on a Friday, a follow-up email and another phone call on a Saturday from Apple tech support all based on posting to this forum!!!
That's amazing service!!!
Thank you Tracey!!

Nov 1, 2013 4:15 PM in response to agmnuby HAK100,I had the same problem. This is what I did:
OK, I have my maps back. I followed a hint for other issues, and logged out of iCloud and then back into iCloud. I had my maps back. This problem arose on two different machines, and the fix worked on both.

Nov 2, 2013 4:00 AM in response to HAK100by neburim,Logging out and in worked for me. Anyway apple should take care of it, checking maps authentication against icloud or whatever.
