for no reason, has happened 3 times now, is this a known issue with iOS 7.0.3?

    Try reset iPad

Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears

Note: Data will not be affected.

Force close all apps in multi-task window.

    1. Double tap the home button to bring up the multi-tasking view

    2. Swipe the app's windows upwards to close

    3. The app will fly off the screen

Same issue, I'm up to a dozen or so now in the last two days.  Appears to happen when task switching.  I'm running 7.0.4.

Not sure if it is app-specific.  I'm at a conference and switching between tweet bot, Evernote, and mail.  Seems like it happens when swtich from Evernote, but not sure it's always the case.

Doesn't always happen while on the task switching screen.

I have the same issue. I happens almost once every day. Most of the times it happens while switching apps but has happened also while surfing the web and other activities.

This hasn't happened to any of my previous iPads. I always close apps and reset periodically. I am afraid it is a hardware issue. I'm going to restore it and use it "like new" for a couple of days and see what happens and if it keeps ocurring, I'm going to use the warranty.
