After iOS 7.0.3 iPhone 5S won't finish sync

    So I added one song to iTunes and then synced again .. bingo .. finished!

    Frustratingly, as well as this issue, iTunes is re-syncing my entire photo library (nearly 11,000 photos) every single time. Makes the sync times ridiculously long.

    My photo lib has reupdated sporadically as well... does not occur each time.

    okay see  here is my beef  i have an iphone 5  everything is up todate includong the itune on my computer . its ont sync my music its say preparing tracks to sync then  go right to finish sync  granted they are mp3's. but still  if  cant find the song intunes i download it from youtueb but if it wont sync on my iphone thenidk what to do T~T.

    Edit: should note that im a pc not a mac when i try syncing  onto my computer  the cloud works find i cant down load music to ym phone fine it can get on itunes fine but   when i to manual sync my crap  it doesnt....

    Same for me, add or delete a playlist and sync completes!

    Looks like iTunes 11.1.3 was released today and seems to have resolved these sync issues. Prior I simply had to set to manually manage songs and could get stuff transferred to iPhone. Otherwise  the sync would fail and hang ot finishing sync etc.

    Unfortunately for me, the new update has changed nothing.  I have tried ALL of the described solutions (including links) and nothing has changed.  In addition, it's a small but annoying addition, if I eject and the phone hasn't finished syncing, then it seems to never realize that it has already updated the number of plays of each song.  I am actually doing a project where I'm keeping track of plays of particular songs, and every time I have a failed sync it adds the previous plays again the next time.  I've always been very disdainful of my partner's Android, but after weeks of frustration with this, that Android is looking SO much more appealing.

    It would appear we are all the same - argh!!! Cannot sync my music, trying everying, resetting, new folders blah blah - honestly Apple sort it out or seriously moving.  So disappointed!  To top it all my phone charger would not go in a week last Sunday, called genius service - first appointment available SATURDAY!!!! No way of getting it earlier depsite work/home/life/business contact - get in, turns out a small bit of dust/object blocking - three SECONDS and I am out.  Am a ranting?  No wonder.  Point is apple fan for years and really losing will to live.  Oh and to just make matters worse IPAD now won't pick up wifi.

    Upfront: I don't know much about computers... The same thing was happening to me.  I logged out of my husband's Apple ID on iTunes, logged in with my own, did the sync and authorized this computer and the sync finished completely and normally.

    I will like to share that with ll of you as I faced the same problem after installed the 7.0.3 update with my music stored in my iphone 4s. Some tracks could be played as usual, some others not, or even were starting and stopped suddenly.

     

    1.Following the recommendations of another user I switched off the setting "Find my iphone" from icloud - setttings.

    2.Than i backed up my iphone as usual to my computer ( i dont use icloud because of huge volume of music, i have).

    3.Then i restore my iphone to factory settings

    4. I open my iphone as my last back up. It would take some minutes according to your saved files.

    5. The problem was solved!!!

    I just had this problem happen today and I didn't even consider that Maverick was part of it, but I did happen to click on that update today and WHAM! my iPhone would not sync. It says that it backed up, but when I hit sync, it says my phone is full. I've deleted EVERY photo I have and cut back on all my playlists. It's clearly a glitch. I was on with tech support for about an hour or more and we did a Mac funbox application and renamed some iTunes files and that at least allowed me to connect the phone and do a backup (I think), whereas before it was telling me I needed to do a full restore of the iPhone. My iPad is unaffected, so maybe I haven't updated the latest version of that and why I'm not having a problem. I'm getting really annoyed with these new updates actually CAUSING problems. If I wanted that kind of "service", I would have stayed with PC products!

    I have a very similar problem, except NO music will sync to my iPhone. It goes through all the normal syncing stages but instead of stopping on the stripped loading bar and saying, "Finishing Sync". It says, "Waiting For Changes to Be Applied". But it stays there FOREVERRRR, and eventually just cancels the sync on it's own and nothing is working...

    I just plugged in to try and sync again and there is a 7.0.4 update. It's downloading to my phone now. I'm hopeful.
