Q: What happens when I enter an iTunes card?

I entered an iTunes card or gift card for 15$ and then when I went to buy an app it asked me to verify my info my credit card info, if I enter my parents credit card will it take money out of my moms credit card or will take money off the 15$ I put in?

As long as you are buying content for yourself then your balance should be used up first - if you are gifting content then that can only be done via a credit card.
