Flashing Desktop Icons

I'm experiencing same issue as well.

Finder keeps on crashing and I can't rename my file during the flashing. All the finder windows just gone.

Wish Apple could help me figure out what's the prob.

Btw, I'm also using mbpr 15" w/ OS X Mavericks.

For a start try going to your home folder>Library>Preferences, find the file com.apple.finder.plist drag it to the desktop. logout and reboot login and see if that helps the issue. If not you can drag it back where you found it (click replace)

Quitt Google Drive and the problem is gone :-)

Been having the same problem as the rest of you. I repaired the disk permissions using the Disk Utility, and then quit Google Drive - its been about an hour now, and Finder hasn't crashed yet, and the desktop icons don't seem to be flashing any more.

Hoping that this is just a google drive problem, and that Apple and Google will play nice with each other to get it fixed.

I just posted a question on the forum concerning this issue, got a bit worried. I quit G Drive and all is back to normal, thanks for the link, much appreciated.
