Q: Red cross on my ipod will not go away

I have tried EVERYTHING including the 'support' on the apple website and what everyone else says works (banging it on hands or surfaces). Not even had it a year!

if this doesn't work as article states needs hardware repair. non accidental damage is covered in first year by Apple.
