Nov 6, 2013 5:19 AM in response to Carmeloo1by Alan Cook2,In iMovie 10 go to File>Share>File, choose the size (probably should choose either SD or Large) then click Next, give it a name, then click Save (remember where you saved it to).
Wait until the Activity Indicator shows that the sharing process is complete.
Go to iDVD. Go to File>Import>Video and select the file you created earlier. It will bring the video into your iDVD project. Prepare your DVD project and when you're ready, click the "Burn" button.

I don't have iDVD - bought my Mac this year & have done the iOS update / upgrade to OS X Mavericks, - have never had it (didn't know about it until searching this forum!). Searched on App store and it's not there. I have "Any Converter Lite" but it's not reading the video...
What is Apple's "new" version of iDVD, if any? -
Nov 6, 2013 6:28 AM in response to Carmeloo1by Alan Cook2,Apple neither sells nor supports iDVD any longer. They seem to have the perception that we all have super fast cable internet and can share all our videos online and have no need for optical media at all.
There are DVD burning apps in the Mac App Store, but I have no experience with any of them.
If it was me I would by iLife from Amazon or eBay, so that I could get iDVD. It's a great program and still works great even though Apple no longer officially supports it.
