Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. You may have already found this but I wanted to provide it just in case:

Ari, Thanks for that, yes I have been there and no joy!
It's interesting, when I launch a movie in itunes, it goes to full screen and you have the control 'Play' console appear middle bottom. If I keep my pointer on this console the movie runs fine but if I move the mouse off the console to make it go away, the movie goes out of sync!
I really don't understand it at all!
I have tried it with and without a USB mouse by using laptop pad mouse and it makes no difference. The second you move the pointer off the 'play console' the movie starts to stutter and go out of sync with the audio?
Thank you for teying though

Thanks for your reply and the update. It sounds like a different direction may be warranted here. Due to the nature of your issue you may find more information by using another one of Apple's support resources:

Thank you once again for your response, I have been there before but I am not using a Mac so I cannot give a serial number which is required to complete a support ticket.
I have been banging my head against a wall for a while now, without any way forward.
I actually like itunes, I like the way it works (or used to) but I can't help feeling Apple aren't supporting Windows users in a way they should. Don't we pay for movies like anybody else?
