So I recently just purchased my macbook from school (version 10.6.8) and the purchasing process includes the wiping of the whole macbook contents to get rid of the school network files etc. I previously backed up my entire iPhoto Library into one folder onto my hardrive, then handed it in to my school to be re-imaged. Once I got my MacBook back, I dragged the 'iPhoto Library' folder from my harddrive, to my desktop and then straight into the iPhoto in my dock. However iPhoto would not recognise any of the images, saying that the images in the iPhoto Library were from a more updated version of iPhoto, which is not the same version on my MacBook now... I've tried downloading updates and older versions but still no luck getting my iPhoto back, is there anything that can be done?
