A022 screen here.
Run. This is my 2nd Haswell Macbook Pro. 1st one had a A019 I believe. All I can tell you is this A022 screen is dim, very dim. I have to turn up the brightness 1 below full brightness just to be satisfied. The other screen was 1 or 2 click about the mid pont and it blinded my retina's.
As far a IR, I can't tell you either way. Haven't done the test but thru normal use I do not see anything.
P.S. Everthing looks dingy and grey not white and bright...I tried calibrating it but it didn't help.
Disclosure - I am not a photo/screen expert so my calibration might not be top notch

No. It was great. I only had it 5 days though so I can't comment on IR.
The computer went back because the case creaked and popped. Real annoying.
Seems to be pretty common, 1 out 5 in the store. One on display was real bad.

After one year (and the day after maverick update) some hard gost immages appear, and also a white spot (group of pixels) on the right side of the screen.
I brought the computer at the nearest apple service and after one week they give me back the mbp with a new screen and a new graphic card (?)
Now I have a LSN screen (samsung)
and a graphic card NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M 1024 MB estead of the HD graphics 4000 card.
My screen look more white now.

Its good that Apple has replaced your faulty display. In my case they are denying me of service due to a small dent on USB port. I need your help. Kindly let me know if it is possible for you.
Thanks in Advance

I did some mistake to explain what hapen.
My rmbp is a 15" and late 2012.
So the two display cards, NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M and intel HD graphics 4000, are both istalled.
So after display replacement, changed only the card name visualisation in the system information.
The LCD now is samsung LSN154YL01001 so maybe an old model.
Have no gosting or pixels problem, but have less quality and black than LG display.
In the left top corner have a yellow shadow if on black background and in dark room condition.
