I just upgraded from a 2010 (late 2009) MBA and having trouble adjusting to the resized display resolution on the new MBP Retina. I know I can change resolution from 'best for display' over to 'scaled' then change the display.
When I clicked 'scaled' and then the window to the right of 'Best (Retina)' it does change the size of everything including browser windows, etc which is more in tune with the old MBA.
Is the changing from one resolution to another effect more than the display?
I dislike the change because it moves my desktop around and every time I change from one resolution to another I have to move folders.
Which brings up the question ... I'm still within my time period to take back the MBP and swap for a MBA.
Does anyone else have problems with the new MBP Retina resolution changing things to much?
Definitely do not want to damage things by the constant back and forth changes to the display.
