Classic Mac OSI suspect the lcd screen is going bad. I do not think moving to leopard would help.
You can attach another monitor to the machine.
Try a safe boot.
Shutdown your machine. Hold down the shift key. Poweron. Wait awhile; wait awhile while you harddrive
is being checked. If safe boot help, report back.

Try safe boot. If it is a problem with the video chip, safe boot gets around a bad video chip because safe boot doesn't use the video chip. Does things in software.

Screen had same problem after leopard was install. also the powercord sticks out (doesnt really go the way in but it doesnt go in any firther). srsly what going on

I'm pretty sure it's not monitor related.
-- installed leopard & no change.
-- ran in safe mode & no change.
& what is your evidence of this?
Plug in another monitor & see what this monitor looks like.
apple > system preferences > monitor
look at color
apple > system preferences > monitor
look at universal access. There are settings to change the look of the monitor. I do not recall a setter for the effect you are stating.
