Go to settings>icloud>storage and back up>back up
after that preform a restore by going to
general>reset>erase all content and settings
this will delete everything except the enabled stuff on icloud.
You can view whats enabled by going to icloud in settings.

My device is iphone5 64 bought from UK. I started experiencing frozen screen when locked. Sometimes I cant answer a call becoz of that! This happens every few days and some in two days in a row. I tried everything: reset to factory then restore via iCloud but did not work. I tried restoring from iTunes, didn't work! Same thing.
I went to apple store while visiting USA, they replaced my devise for free.... But same sh*t happens again! Phone is freezing.
Not sure what do next. I thought resetting to factory clean wipe and not restoring from backup. But how can I get my apps? I have tons...
Any one for help?

Is it 5 or 5s? Are you using 7.0 or 7.03? When apple gave me the new phone i restored from itunes! Since than I am on 7.0 and only App Story freezing(like not installing just after restart) but the rest of the phone is working!

I had most of the problems you mentioned before my device (iphone5) was 7.0.3 upgraded few weeks ago.
Now it seems fairly stable though I am not too impressed with ios7 - it is way too slow in screen response.

Same problem here. Everytime I connect my iphone 5S to itunes, I get a message after five minutes informing me that itunes is updating files. Shortly after that, the itunes account freezes. What kind of person has time for the ten step repairs of labyrinine complexity? Apple *****.

This must be a software issue. It might not be the iOS but some apps are causing it to freeze. The fact that I had my phone replaced and still have this problem, proves my point. Apple used to have a very stable iOS that will run smoothly even if an app crashes. Now I have a second thought about. Pease somebody from Apple step in and give us a clue!

I think the problem was never fixed, or if it all someone claimed it was fixed, it was never tested properly.
I am certain that this problem is back again on my phone. I found out that my phone's number lock keypad freezes and fails to display the touch sensing display areas for the numbers pressed.
This happens more so often immediately after a call is disconnected and you want to access the phone - noticed 5 times so far !
I really think it is indeed an IOS issue.
It is shame that simple important phone features are going for a toss when Apple attaches bells and whistles into a phone - This is ridiculous of apple, you are definitely draining your brains to innovate at the same time never realises a customer are missing basic features required to make/answer and use a "phone".

I am facing the similar issue.
Sometimes if left sometime idle, when we try to access back it gets stuck. control center can be launched but nothing works. the swipe to enter passcode screen itself doesn't work. it doesn't recognize. it freezes.
Same also happens when someone gives us a missed call.
Please fix this issue. This is really annoying. Do we have restart our iphone all the time whenever we hit this issue. It is not at all a good experience.

I am also facing the same issue. Phone keeps freezing most of the times in lock screen. Other than control center nothing works. Tried complete reset and DFU but no use... Apple plz fix the issue
