There was an update not too long ago and now my favorites are no longer a full page as there were before the update.  When I hit the bookmarks it shows up on the left side of the screen.  Before it was the whole page and the layout was much cleaner and easier to use.

Is there anyway to get back to the way it was before the update?

I notice that when I hit show history, it still shows up on the whole page.   That's how I want my bookmarks to appear.

Lastly, is there a way to stay logged in here? .

Thanks,

iMac, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.5)

The only way you can revert is to reinstall OS X & (when last checked, although that may change anytime) that will leave you with safari 6.0.5 rather than the updated 6.1.

Otherwise - Edit Bookmarks under the bookmark menu does at least show them on a whole page, although that's not the same as the previous arrangement.

I usually seem to stay logged in until leaving the discussions site for a length of time, although sometimes that period appears to be very short indeed. I gather that most here find the same.

    You're right - there isn't.
