Matt00 was too polite to club you over the head with it, but that article shows that only these Macs support AirPlay Mirroring:
- iMac (Mid 2011 or newer)
- Mac mini (Mid 2011 or newer)
- MacBook Air (Mid 2011 or newer)
- MacBook Pro (Early 2011 or newer)
You Mac pro 65lb tower is not supported.

A number of users on the forums refer to the Mac Pro when they actually own a MacBook Pro notebook computer.
While that 65lb weight is a bit high for the 2012 model's actual weight, it was accurate for the previous Power-PC towers, and gets the point across that I am not talking about any notebook computer.Mac Pro (Early 2009), Mac OS X (10.6.8), & Server, PPC, & AppleTalk Printers
