Q: Where can I find what programs won't work after I update?

I have a Mac Pro from 2007 & 2009 equipped with Snow Leopard and they're being updated to Lion and Mountain Lion (or Mavericks), respectively, but I have programs such as Final Cut Pro 7 and other software that isn't the most current version. Is there a way that I can find out what programs will/won't work after the update so I can than decide what to do.

Mac Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.8), OS X 7

    Welcome to Apple Support Communities

RoaringApps tell you if your applications are compatible with the newest Mac OS X versions. Note that you may not find all your apps, so in that case, you may have to look for information in the Internet or contact with the developer.

In the case of Final Cut Pro 7, it should work
