Switching to Static IP and back to Dynamic immediately solved my problem of wifi connectivity. Thanks!

My phone randomly decided to stop connecting to the wi-fi, but my laptop and tablet were fine and my fiance's iphone.
I tried all the usuals - resetting the networking settings and all settings, forgetting the network and re-entering the password.
What finally worked was updating the modem's firmware.... and the problem wa solved - connecting fine now. Something else for you to try...

After a week of trying verious fixes, I realized that the problem with my iPhone 4 not connecting with Wi-Fi at home arose when a technician from my ISP provider (Rogers) installed a proprietary modem. My iMac and AppleTV started dropping the Wi-Fi, while my iPhone 4 could not connect at all. I have just replaced the proprietary modem with a Cisco one -- and everything is working perfectly. So if you don't have a Cisco modem, get one! There are all kinds of proprietary modems around, and some of them have been tested for Windows, but not for Apple. I hope it helps.

I would try to restore the network settings:
Go to Settings>General>Restore>Restore network settings.

Had the same problem with my iPhone 4S, came home one evening and just refused to connect to the home wifi, everything else worked fine. Tried, forgetting the network and re-entered the password, switched off cellular data and wifi several times but still unable to connect. Finally connected after doing a hard reset (holding down the on/off button and home button at the same time) which was recommended in a previous post.

My iPhone 4S with iOS 7 has been having problems with WiFi connectiosn lately. It constantly drops off and does not recognize wifi networks that I have used previously. Tried to turn WiFi off and on again but the setting freezes and quits. When I go back to the setting the wifi on/off switch then appears grayed out and is not able to be selected.
The lock screen wifi switch indicates that the wifi is on, but is shown to be off in the settings.
I went and reset the network settings several times but the connection issue keeps coming back. And now resetting the network settings doesn't even work.
All of my other wifi devices are connecting to my home's wifi without any issue.
It is getting really annoying. This bug needs to be fixed soon!

My husband and are having the same issue. Our phones were connecting fine to our home network but now they won't connect. But our iPads are connecting fine. I reset the network setting on the phones then switched to static ip and added ip addresses and still won't connect. What the heck is going on APPLE? Too many people are having the same problem. I already received a message from Verizon the my phone has used 75% of my data because I can't connect to wifi. :(
