Hello everybody! I just bought a WONDERFUL (!!) MacBook Pro Retina and wanted to move my big library of purchased iPhone/iPad Apps from my previous MacBook to this one.

How can I do so? Thanks!!

    Welcome to Apple Support Communities

Connect the iPhone and/or iPad, and iTunes will open automatically. It should allow you to transfer purchases, so choose that option.

If it doesn't give you this option, open iTunes and go to File menu (on the menu bar) > Devices > Transfer purchases

Of course. You can transfer the whole iTunes library if you wish, so you will keep everything you had on the old Mac.

Follow these steps > http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1751 You need an external drive. Do the "Restoring your iTunes Library backup" on your new MacBook Pro, and open iTunes

You did it right, but it looks like you only transferred your songs. I recommend you to do what the link says
