Q: Japanese keyboard characters have not registered with mavericks update
So after updating to OSX Mavericks the keyboard registers western punctuation instead of the Japanese punctuation positions for example 'shift-6' creates a '^' rather than a '&' as it should and so on and so forth. Is it possible to update this so the keyboard recognises the Japanese format?

Add US keyboard (who knows why...), then remove Kotoeri, then add Koteri back, then removed US. Now it works again.

I have found a solution to the new keyboard bug (only japanese) on Mavericks. Delete Kotoeri and use US keyboard, then add Kotoeri again. |
