Nov 14, 2013 11:02 AM in response to Frankjoby léonie,How do I delete these from the phone? And what should I be doing differntly when i hook up my phone to my Mac? Any info is much appreciated.
You delete synced photos by syncing again with iTunes on your Mac.
Only when syncing, deselect all albums, events, faces, ... in the "Photos" tab of the device settings for your iPhone.
To delete synced photos and videos from your device
- In iTunes, click the Device button in the upper right corner. (If viewing the iTunes Store, click the Library button in the upper-right corner first.)
- Click the Photos tab in the resulting window.
- Choose "Selected albums" and deselect the albums or collections you want to delete.
Note: To delete all synced photos, deselect "Sync Photos from" and, when asked, click "Remove photos." - Click Apply.

May 9, 2015 7:21 PM in response to léonieby simplnsweet,HI there, I have the same problem but when I go to the Photos tab in iTunes after connecting my iPhone 5 to it, I only get the option of having my photos reserved to my iphone "Sync photos" or not. I still don't know how to remove any photos/albums on my iPhone that came from my Mac. This is driving me nuts! I have no memory left on my phone.
