Q: Macbook Pro Battery say it will take 14 hours to fully charge...

Well, check this:

click power in the left column, and check all the info under battery, is it charging? is it the health normal, etc..

It is not charging, take it in, and make it their problem, not your's (if this is a screen shot of your machine with the charger plugged in. You do have a high number of charge cycles on it, but just the same (make an appointment) and have it checked out. The diagnosis is is free.

I have the same issue. I bought a refurbished 2011 Macbook pro 15" several months ago from mac of all trades. Immediately I noticed something amiss with the battery--it takes 14 hours to charge and the battery life is really low, maybe 2 hours at most.

I went in for a battery disagnostics at the apple store and the battery shows a 91% life. The technician couldn't find anything wrong with the hardware and admitted the battery charge time is inordinately long. He suggested something software related was the issue, but couldn't give a replacement as it's out of warrantee.

Lesson learned: don't buy refurbished from another company other than apple. If anyone can help with this issue I would be appreciative.

Did it come with an 85 watt power supply?

I see this question is kind of answered a little bit in each reply so hopefully this one can pull it all together for the next person that has this issue. The most likely problem the original questioner was having was due to using an inadequate MagSafe power adapter. If you have other Macbooks in the house that are different models/years, it may be tempting to use the power adapters interchangeably. This is strongly discouraged. While it is unlikely to cause immediate damage to your device, the long term effects of using an improper power adapter can be damaging to your hardware.

In this case, I was having a similar issue as oulalanessaa. Unlike oulalanessa though, the power portion of my system information was showing a "yes" value for charging under the Charging Information section. My problem revolved around my Macbook Pro saying it would take approximately 14 hours to finish charging. What tipped me off to the solution was the wattage value at the bottom of the power portion of my system information (under AC Charger Information). It was saying I was only getting 45W from my AC Charger. I realized then that I was using my wife's Macbook Air power adapter to try and charge my 15-inch Macbook Pro. Once I switched back to the power adapter specifically made for my model (which is the 85W one), my Macbook Pro immediately started to charge normally, showing only two hours until charging is complete.
