I did have the same exact problem. I am using PC with Windows 7 with iOS 7.0.2 and just had my laptop reformatted.

I installed the latest iCloud on my laptop and it just streams the old pictures and not the latest ones.

    But my problem did solved.

    Here's what i did :-

    1. Go to Control Panel -> iCloud

    2. I uncheck the Photos option (in picture) ScreenShot001.png

    3. And then i click APPLY

    4. Then i rechecked the Photos box back.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- --

Thanks,AnfaalR step 1-4 solved the problem for me....

I've tried that. Not only are most photos not uploading to the cloud, but they don't transfer properly when I connect my iPhone to my MacBook Air using the USB cable. Some photos transfer out of order; some don't transfer at all.

Same problem.  Rebooting the source device clears it up for me, but the problem continues to recur, requiring a reboot almost every day.  Very inconvenient.

My problem occurs verifiably (and intermittently) within the iPad Mini alone. Whenever a picture I've TAKEN ON THE MINI does not show elsewhere, I can confirm that it has not been transferred to the photostream as VIEWED FROM the MINI itself.  I have also confirmed that internet connectivity is good when the problems occurs, (before the reboot and after).

    iPad mini, iOS7 (7.03)

MacBook Air (mid 2013), Mavericks (OSX, firmware, SMC, all fully updated)

I have the same problem! Some of the fotos are uploaded, some not, since IOS7 and 7.0.3. But it's not a problem between pc and Icloud, it's a problem between iphone and Icloud. The photos that are shown on the phone in. The photostream, are syncronised well with the pc.

But there is an othe problem also. Because the update of the Icloud sotware and IOS7 update was about the same time, i don't know wich the wrong is, but since this time iclod stopped to sync contacts and calender with the pc. Icloud and phone sync is OK.

I'm having the same problem. The only way I'm able to add photos to my PC is by connecting the iPhone to laptop, open the iPhone folder (under computer folder), double click on "internal storage" and copy photos from ALL folders. It's a pain to do this especially if you have many photos (e.g. 999), but it's better than losing them all until Apple fixes this problem... And even after it's fixed, I doubt that old photos will automatically stream to the PC, but hopefully I'm wrong...

One option in the interim is to use Amazon cloud drive (free up to 5gb) it works!

The original post referred to PhotoStream not updating on enabled devices (Mac, iPad, or iPhone) after taking photos with iPad or iPhone.  Has anyone actually found a solution to this problem yet?

I also have this issue. At first I though it was space free on my 4S, but it doesn't seem to be it. It unpredictably pushes photos to photostream. A reboot, or airplane mode toggle will restart it AFTER, but previously taken photos will not be pushed and I have to connect to Aperture to pull the photos over USB. This makes photostream generally unreliable and I feel less confident that my photos are backed up. I really like photstream for backup and sync across all devices, please fix this Apple.

I'm experiencing the same thing as everyone else here.  The photos taken show up immediately on my devices iPhone 5S and iPad 3 in the Photo Stream (as long as they're connected to wifi) however they don't show up on my PC's.  I've tried unchecking PS in the iCloud Control Panel and restoring it however without succcess.

    Looking forward to a fix.

I am not experiencing this issue, but as part of my research, came across these postings.  There is a recent post associated with this issue and having a custom location for storing photos in a PC.  The link is here: http://kalpeshpadia.wordpress.com/

I don't know if that will help.

Is anyone coding an app that utilizes the camera roll?  I am having an issue with loading Photostream images to this app.

Another case here. Doing the "turn off - apply, turn on - apply" did nothing.

Have tried renaming the old legacy folder (aka Photostream) to the new convention (aka iCloud Photos) and waiting to see if that helps - does seem like now iCloud on the PC is churning away to re-sync everything finally.  Hope it works. If so it's a pathetic fail by Apple to have changed the convention for the folder name and then not change the PC software so it works properly or make it fully backwards compatible.

I've tried this now but it doesn't seem to work properly and has kind of spun out of control.  Now I'm regretting tampering with it.

Yes, and I avoided doing the "reset all settings" on my iOS devices for that reason. That's like the old Microsoft "Reinstall Windows" instruction - 90% of the time it wasn't a known answer as much as a blind excuse to get you to go away and hope that maybe by sheer coincidence it fixed something.

I got wise to not paying attention to the iOS "Reset all settings" think after being burned 2-3 times early in my iPhone / iPad days after having to re-setup EVERYTHING on my devices and still not have it fix anything - obviously just a lame blind shot in the dark they give you hoping that it resets some problem, rather than truly a fix.
