Q: I think my friend stole my macbook pro. How do I prove that it's mine?

I think my friend sole my MBP but I don't know how to prove it. I know there's a unique serial number for every MBP but I don't have the original packaging to find my serial number to prove that it is my computer. She wiped the computer clean as well. What do I do? Is there any other way?
