Q: We have had a Mac Book Pro stolen and need to find the serial number for it.

How do I find out the serial number for a Mac Book Pro that was just stolen? I don't have it in my records.

On the receipt, on the box it came in.

Unless you registered it with Apple you are done, try looking for the box and the receipt
