Q: Wifi connection stabilization - on Linksys Router

Any help for a stubborn wifi connection that intermittently works on the G-band and N-band, but continuously drops signal to MacBook Pro OS X?  Signal will drop on a hat, sometimes works for 30 minutes and other times 30 seconds.

MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X Mavericks (10.9)

If your MacBook Pro does not have this issue when connected to other Wi-Fi networks then either the Linksys router is the culprit or there is Wi-Fi interference present in the area that is preventing the router from providing a clean signal.

I suggest you perform a simple site survey, using utilities like iStumbler, or AirRadar to determine potential areas of interference, and then, try to either eliminate or significantly reduce them where possible.
