Nov 18, 2013 12:18 PM in response to bemartin11by mdking671,Adding US holidays to the iPad iOS 7 is fairly easy.
1. Connect iPad to iMac.
2. Open your iMac calendar.
3. On the left side right click on US Holidays
4. Click on iCloud
5, Holidays will begin to appear on the iPad calendar.

Nov 19, 2013 11:18 AM in response to bemartin11by 4np,- open iCal on your Mac
- on the left under 'other' you see the 'Holidays' feed (with rss icon)
- click on it and select 'Get Info'
- change 'Location' from 'On My Mac' to 'iCloud'
The 'Holidays' feed moves from 'Other' to 'iCloud' in the left of iCal, and you now see the Holidays on your iDevice as well...

Nov 20, 2013 7:07 AM in response to bemartin11by mkfromel,Great responses worked on iPad and iPhone, but so far nothing works on iMac. Problem seems to be that I never get the prompt to save on iCloud, which is the calendar I need to import the holidays into; they did flow into iCal, but I prefer to use the iCloud calendar, which syncs with my other devices.
Still looking for magic answer for how to import US holidays into iCloud calendar and/or how to access that elusive prompt everyone's mentioning about saving on iCloud - just never appears on my MacBook Pro.
Thanks so much!

Nov 21, 2013 6:40 PM in response to bemartin11by CAL205,From the mobile device itself, open Safari, go to www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/calendars/usholidaycalendar.html, select "download" link and you should get a popup to "subscribe" select that and it should download straight to your device. It worked for me. Hope this helps.

Feb 10, 2014 4:20 AM in response to bemartin11by zoso4,It's not necessary to use a computer to add US Holidays to your iCal calendar on your iPhone. Go to settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendars>Tap Add Account>Tap Other>Tap Add Subscribed Calendar>In the server field, input ical.mac.com/ical/US32Holidays.ical You can then name the calendar, then tap Save (you may get a pop up about SSL. Hit ok)
