Hi Eken66,

Pages for iOS is not the same as Pages for OSX. The operating system for a Mac is an entirely different platform than the one for an iOS device, so the software is also different. If you have purchased a new Mac, then Pages and all of the other iWork apps should be free.

Check your Mac Apps application to see if they are there waiting to be downloaded, or go to the App Store and check the apps to see if they have the "Download" icon showing instead of the price. If they do, then you can simply click on "Download" and they will download to your Mac.

Txs for a quick reply! No, the Mac is an older machine which I'm using in order to get used to it before buying a new one.

This makes me believe that I have to buy Pages 2 times? One for the iOS and one for the old Mac?

So, even if I have a document in iCloud, created in iOS, I cannot edit it in my Mac until I purchase Pages for Mac....I can see the document, but not edit it.....

Right now Apple has a promotion. If you buy a new Mac, anytime after 1 OCT 2013, you get all 3 iWork apps for Mac free.
