Q: Why won't my ipad let me cancel a pre order

So I pre-ordered midnight memories on my ipad but a couple days later I decided I would just get the cd when it came out so when I went to cancel my pre-order there was no cancel button I know the album still isn't out! I have tried to cancel it through itunes on my computer but that didn't work and my ipad still says I have pre-ordered when I don't what should I do?

Hey love! I have a similar problem with preordering albums,

At the end of the day weather it is preordered or not it doesnt make a difference, it wont automatically charge you and add the song, you have to go into downloads and tap on it.

I made the mistake of preordering the regular album AND the deluxe album without realising it, then I tapped on them in downloads thinking there was an error and it charged me for the same song twice with all 3 of the released songs, I also already purchased Best Song Ever and now I will end up with the track 3 times.

All in all I am kind of stuck paying for the album twice and having all my songs repeat themselves.

    You can only cancel a pre-order via iTunes on a computer. If you're unable to cancel via the procedure in this support article:

    and follow the instructions to report the issue to the iTunes Store.

    I cancelled it through my computer and it says i still have it pre-ordered on my ipad
