Q: Every time I try to sync music from downloads and then into itunes the computer crashes. Any advice?

I have a new ipod nano, 7th gen. Every time I try to sync my music the computer crashes. The music is still in downloads and wont even shift onto itunes let alone the ipod. Any advice would be welcomed. Thanks
