Hi,

After the release of imovie, pages, keynote and numbers I updated my old iWorks via the App Store. The Apps are installed but software update tells me to update again. Did that but after a while the reminder to update showed up again. What to do?

Oops I now see it's now a new version. Let's see if this stops it.

The same problemif after upgrading to close App Store and open it again, updatings appear again.

Spotlight cleaned and re-indexed, but it did not help, even if you delete the program's he still offers to update them

I am having the exact same problem. I updated today and went back to the store later and it asked to update the same thing again and not only my iWork apps but also Evernote and my Cookie app. So I updated again and now I've went back to MSA and it wants to update all those apps again.

Ignore it. The new version isn't in the iWork folder but in the Applications folder. And if you already have it in your dock, the icon will recognise the new version.

I am having the same problem...  I've already had to intall Pages version 5.0.1 THREE TIMES and it wants me to install the same version yet again!  Similarly, I had to install iMovie 10.0.1 twice, and "DragonDrop" twice.  This is going to start to eat into my limited (Canadian) monthly allotment, and I might have to end up paying my ISP for overage.  Will Apple pay for this, one wonders?

    Apple seems all repaired

morning all the updates gone very well!

No such luck...   "Software Update" still insists on wanting to update applications already updated.  This is becoming infuriating!

I too am having this problem, eversince the upgrade to Mavericks, this thread is the only reference I've found so far, any fixes found yet?

...the apps to upgrade but the App Store doesn't clear them from the Updates pain!

The problem seems to have corrected itself for me today. After I booted up my computor and checked the Apple Store it did not asked me to update anymore. This is not the first time this has happened since I updated to Mavericks. It happened with the iWork's after they were first updated with the new changes after Mavericks came out.

The problem seems to have been corrected (at least for me), presumably by Apple, who chose not to warn any of its customers that the problem might arise on their accounts.  Whether or not the problem continues tresolved remains to be seen.  Why Apple would choose to release the train wreck that is Mavericks is quite beyond me.  Mail, for instance, remains incapable of having its "rules" filter sent messages as well as received, a problem I discovered within about three minutes of starting to use "Mavericks".  One is led to wonder about the competence of Apple's software engineersat lease.

Not sure it is fixed, at least not for me, I was having the problem as I wrote my comment above. A reboot, log-out superficiously clears the list for me, then next time a batch of upgrades pop-up the same problem again...

It's not fixed. This isn't the first app that has gotten stuck in this loop for me. It's just the latest and most persistent instance of this same bug. Lauching both apps shows the new version number. The installations are all directly into /Applications with no subfolder, and there's no old iWork folder lying around either. The last modified date for both apps is today about an hour and a half ago from my most recent attempt. Rebooting did nothing.

I hope the app store app knows how to update itself.

I have the same problem, I have updated 3 times already. Also Aperture is updating without even asking, so it's constantly downloading and I can never use it.

Did you guys find a way to solve this? I am still having the same problem

For me, it cleared up on its own a few days after I posted the screenshot.

If you don't use an admin account day-to-day, you could try logging out of your regular account, signing on as an admin and running the updates from there. That has worked for me in the past and even when it doesn't work it doesn't seem to do any harm either.

If you do use an admin account day-to-day, I've got no idea what to try next.
