Q: Why are fonts missing on iPhone for Pages and Not Compatible for MacBook Pro

I have paid for Pages and when I open documents that are on my MacBook pro they open, but on the iPhone they will not open and say that certain fonts are missing and crashes. This is messing up my productivity. I am a writer and it is good to use the phone to show my writing to try and sell them, but Aplle has messed me up since they also did away with the iWeb they supported. Too be honest, thanks for screwing up all my books and writings. This is a very serious problem for me. Those books sit in the library of congress and I am not gonna carry this laptop around all day with me. This is why I will never refer people to use Pages or even iTune.

I am sorry to hear of the problem, but it would help if you gave some details, such as versions of Pages, OSX, iOS, the particular fonts etc.

Also if you want to be taken seriously as a writer, check your posts before posting.

You will need to know what fonts are available on the individual platforms by default. Here are the fonts installed on:

VikingOSX,   Do you always insult people here with such a remark.

re: "Also if you want to be taken seriously as a writer, check your posts before posting" , which has nothing to do with the fonts that work between my iPhone and Macbook Pro. if you were not lazy , you could have click on my stuff and see what I use. I have many thousands of documents and I am not going to go to each document and change fonts, it is just insane to do that. I am talking aboout 30 years of work. Comprendo down there Down Under ?

I was able to see what you have.

I am gonna say here, yes i emailed you with a detailed letter why I do not correct spelling here. You were able to understand what I said. Ok.

Well wordtripper. What are others to believe about your due diligence when you incorrectly use my Apple ID as a conduit for Peter's vilification?

    VikingOSX

Sorry, that should have gone too PeterBreis0807 and it is not correct that he insult a person like he did. I sent him a email as to why he should not insult me. I have written 127 books. That's thousands of documents that I am not gonna go through each and change the fonts. They were done in Claris Works, then to Pages. in my computer they are correct. I used to sell my books for a living

I am a disabled war veteran and was in a coma clinically dead and now my training of thought is not the same any more. So I do not take my time and correct things I type. Even my foreign friends in europe understand every word I type too them.

I really do not know how you got that message. and say sorry again, but even you insult me here.

Also if I can see what he uses , he could have gone to my info and see what I use. That simple. Again, you do not insult people here. Do you understand that loud and clear ? I am not here for abuse or to abuse anyone. I asked a simple question. All apps in my MacBook Pro are up to date and also in my iPhone.

I open documents  with Pages in my  iPhone and it crashs. When I buy a product I expect it to work.

I'm sorry if you felt insulted but it was not meant as such.

Now don't take this the wrong way, but you are not the only one in the whole forum.

We respond to thousands of posters and whilst you see yourself as unique, you are not, and we can not see who you are or what you are using. Which is why you should clearly explain yourself and your situation.

We are obviously not there to look over your shoulder.

The accusation of "lazy" is a little hard to swallow when we (volunteers) are busy replying to so many people, most of whom can take the time to tell us what exactly they are talking about.

You still haven't told us anything, after firing off an angry email and 2 more angry posts, that would let us resolve your issue.

Do you want us to assume you are just venting, or want answers?

    Peter

PS Despite the enormous number of responses I go through I do reread my replies and correct them so they are as clear as possible for the posters.

So here is a very simple easy question, so simple.

How do I delete myself from all of this forum ?  Literally I mean all.

I am really going to quit coming here. Go drink a beer on that one matie.
