Who is your cellular provider on that phone and did you set up international use with them before you left the States?

Alternatively you coud go to a local Cell shop in Europe and buy a pay as you go Nano sim card for use while you are there.

Nov 28, 2013 11:56 AM in response to jenhutchNJby elmac,Go into any Cell store that sells iPhones and Ask for Help..........
ps. I travel all over Europe with my US iPhone 5s.. I always call my carrier AT&T before I travel
and check that my settings are as I require............They do make mistakes..
Also you should have a FREE contact number for your Carrier...Call Them..
