Q: Cannot turn off my computer

Hello to you all,

for a few days now I have had an issue with my Macbook Air : I cannot turn it off.

Weather I go trhoug the menu, press control+the shut down button or hold the shutdown button for several seconds (i'm on mavericks) the shut down dialog window does not appear. Even using the shut down command in Alfred is no help.

The only solution I have is to force the sult down or use the terminal sudo commands.

I have tried to reset the PRAM, repair the boot drive and hold the shift key when booting and nothing works.

When I display the console and try to shut down with Alfred I have this message (not all the time) :

29/11/2013 11:26:56,386 System Events[349]: .sdef warning for part of complex type 'number | boolean | date | list | record | text | any | data' used in suite 'Property List Suite': 'data' is not a valid type name.
29/11/2013 11:26:56,387 System Events[349]: .sdef warning for type 'text | missing value | any' attribute 'uniqueID' of class 'XML element' in suite 'XML Suite': AppleScript ID references may not work for this property because its type is not NSNumber- or NSString-derived.

I don't know if it is relevant.

Do any of you have an idea?
