Q: Changed name on airport extreme (wireless tab), airport express is no longer connected.

My personal name was displayed on wifi when setting up airport extreme several months ago.  Had to add airport express to extend wifi to other side of home. Connected ok and everyone working.  Today I   went back to remove my personal name so neighbors did not see my"name" on wifi network and renamed it generic.  Airport Extreme working ok....now Airport Express is not recongized nor Roku.  Rebooted, etc still can't get connection to AE and R.  AE is blinking yellow.

Airport Express-Extreme, read description above

now Airport Express is not recongized

This would be expected since the Express still has the stored settings to connect to your "old" wireless network....which now no longer exists. The Express is still trying to connect to your old network, and it cannot do so.

You need to start over on the Expess and reconfigure it to extend the "new" network.

The Roku as well will need to be reconfigured to connect to your "new" network.
