Hello there,

I have a problem signing in on the iTunesconnect site.

My employer can get into the site with my AppID and password, but I can't.

Is there somebody maybe what I have to do?

Everytime I tried to access my account or retrieve my purchases on itunes I was caught in a loop of entering my ID and password, without error messages.

Friggin cookies setting on Safari.  Apple, come on, try sharing a little information with your users so that your apps have basic functionality.

After years of being annoyed I finally found the answer...it's has to do with your cookies being blocked in safari.

That may work for you but many of the posters, including me, don't use Safari or even have it installed...

this was happening to me.  trying to update apps in iTunes kept asking me to login.  also trying to view my account in iTunes/iTunes Store also kept asking me to login.

but...using the App Store app, I could successfully view my account, just hit Done without modifying anything, and boom, I could login and update apps within iTunes again.

Bingo. Thanks. Turning cookies back on in Safari fixed it.

Just restart Safari and iTunes and it should work.

I have had the same issue with iTunes asking for my password multiple times even after I have submitted it! I called Apple Support and the solution is:

• Login into your AppleID click on manage accounts.
• Sign out of iTunes on your computer, under Store (top menu).
• Go to your Keychain access on your computer and DELETE your iTunes iAd password!
• Open up iTunes and put in your password.

He said reseting Safari shouldn't be related. Even though when I tried iTunes did ask me for my password again! I went back to Keychain access again and deleted my iTunes iAd password again and all seems fine! Under Safari/Privacy my cookies are set to Never Block, so I don't think that was the issue for some!

Itunes uses Safari Cookie preferences. Go to Safari>Preferences>Privacy>Block cookies and other website data>

change the setting to  "from third parties or advertisers" or "never"

thejermy, thanks for this tip. It seems to work.

This "bug" has bothered me for years. I even once spent more than one hour on the phone with Apple to solve this (did not help, two different people from Apple had no idea that this is connected to Safari cookies).

I can quit and reopen iTunes as many times as I want without having to put in the password again - if I don't delete the Safari cookies in-between (which I am doing frequently). However, when I delete the cookies iTunes asks the next time for the password. This is still annoying and stupid but at least I do know now why and when it happens.

All very helpful EXCEPT - to access my itunes account......the exact same problem happens, I get asked for my password over and over again and never reach the account settings
