Q: help with making a 2014 calendar with iPhoto '09

I'm making my first calendar in iPhoto /09.  I've cropped my photos (except for one) to a 1 to 1.25 aspect ratio for the 13 x 10.4 in. calendar Apple sells.  Am I on track? What else do I need to do/consider?  Thanks

iPhoto '08, Mac OS X (10.7.5)

What exact version of iPhoto are you running?  If it's Version 7 (08) you won't be able to order any print products as that version is not supported by the print store.  The minimum version for ordering printed products is iPhoto 8 (09).  Just making sure as your profile indicates iPhoto 08.

As for cropping, it's only necessary for the one photo per page layout if you want to make sure what small portion of the image is cropped.  The other layouts use a different size ratio so one just can add the photos as they come out of the camera (4:3 ratio) to the calendar without worrying about cropping.
