Your problem might very well be MacKeeper in itself. It's junk software and can damage your system beyond repair.

But MacKeeper may already have caused damage to your system. You may have to start all over again with a clean install.

MacKeeper could be the problem, it is well documented on this forum that t causes more problems than it fixes.

I would start by getting rid of MacKeeper.
