Q: i backed up photos and files from my iphone which i unfortunately lost now i hae an ipad which i wish to restore my previous content from the icloud but i cannot access my photos or files .It is quite sad that It shows that they are on the icloud.

    The iCloud backup of your iPhone included your camera roll photos.  However, camera roll photos cannot be restored to an iPad from an iPhone backup.

     

    You can recover your photos by restoring the iPhone backup to another iPhone or iPod Touch.  Be sure not to wait too long to do this as Apple will delete iCloud backups after 180 days.
