New driver? The most recent driver listed for the ScanExpress A3 USB 1200 Pro is from 2011 for ANY operating system. Where do you see a new driver?

> Category pick list: 'Select a Category > scanners> etc....
Did you see that?

Yes, I selected the 1200 scanner and there are no new drivers. Are you saying that you used the 2400 driver with the 1200 scanner and it worked? This thread is specifically about drivers for the 1200 model scanner.

Darn! So sorry NOYBUS. I visited so many forums to find a solution and i by accident put the answer to my Mustek 2400S (A3) one in this 1200 forum... I am very sorry!

I am in the boat. I have a usb 1200 pro scanner. When i upgraded to 10.8.5 os mac there wasn't a driver for it. Now I have a great scanner that I can't use. I have tried to contact Mustec but no luck. Any help would be appreciated.

Update on the European Driver for the A3 1200 Pro Scanner: Even though it is listed as the driver for the A3 1200 Pro on their website in my link above, it is actually the driver for the 1200S. They just replied to my question about that . Their response...
"The 1200 Pro should have his own driver for Mac 10.9 We have contacted the manufacturer already to update the Mac drivers. As soon as it is available we will place the new driver on our website."

I had the same issue and followed NOYBUS suggestion. it worked.
- I downloaded the 'Uninstalls driver from OSX' and did that first.
- then installed Image Aquire
- then installed the 10.4 - 10.6 driver, the newest listed.
I was able to open and scan frrom Image Aquire without even a reboot. I am in 10.9 powerbook without a fresh install, so that probably doesn't make a difference. I can not scan from Photoshop CC.
I had tired the TWAIN route before Maverics and never got it to work, so actually I'm better off after the upgrade then before, though I do miss scanning into Photoshop. I'm thrilled to have it back!
since they still sell them, why they can't get this done since 10.6 is bizzaro.

Thank you very much, this worked for me and my SE A3 USB 1200 Pro on 10.9.2. I installed all the European drivers and reinstalled Image Acquire and it started working without a reboot. Thanks all, this has been bothering me for months.
