Q: I can't get some of my past purchases downloaded onto my laptop computer. It says 'purchased' when I look it up in the store but I can't download certain songs???

    What you can redownload (music can't be redownloaded in all countries) will show under the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page. If music shows as a category there, but not all your purchases show, then if they are still in your country's store (record companies occasionally remove them) then check to see if anything is hidden : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4919
